So I did see the new update. Unfortunately my trust in dA is gone. Even though they've automatically opted everyone out now, they wouldn't have done so without the massive backlash, and I still can't trust that they won't just change their minds in the future. As much as I appreciate the change, I'm still leaving and have decided to delete all of my art. My account will stay up, but will be inactive. It's been 15 years on here (11 on this account). Deviantart was a great place for me to grow as an artist, and I'm grateful to have been here so long. I don't regret any of it ^^ If you still want to follow my art, I've made a new tumblr (@/nebulousbren) and I still post on instagram every once in a while too, as well as Ko-fi (also @/nebulousbren). In the wake of all this I'm considering building my own art website considering all this AI/NFT stuff seems to mainly be scraping from social media sites. Don't know how much safer my own website will be from that, but it might help? I'll

What is the best way to permanently delete deviations to make sure they will not get used to train DreamUp or 3rd party AI? Will moving to storage work, or will I have to manually delete each one before deleting my own account? Oh yeah, I'm definitely not staying after this mess. Even if they pull a complete 180 and scrap the whole thing, I'm afraid I'm finally done. I've stayed through many a change on this site, even Eclipse, but the approach they've taken with AI """art""" is the last straw. They had a real chance to show how they could build an ethical AI tool and give artists the choice to opt in, but instead they went with an AI that has already been trained on millions of stolen art and force us to opt-out manually on every. single. piece. Sure, there's a mass opt-out button in the settings now, but not only does it not work they only added it because of the backlash. For now at the least, I've cancelled my Core subscription. They won't get another cent from me. And I'm

Been working on school assignments, haven't had much time to draw for myself. If you want to see what I have been drawing, follow me on Ko-fi or Twitter. I sign in every Sunday to post stuff ๐Ÿ˜Š

Hi Nebulousbren, I am GoldenRaptor10 and I'm a fan of the show "Captain Planet and the Planeteers". I'm wondering whether you can draw Captain Planet and the Planeteers as either anthro or non-anthro animals, because I would LOVE IT if you can. I would like it if Captain Planet and each of the Planeteers are a different species from each other. I'm asking you this because I believe Captain Planet and the Planeteers as animals/anthro animals would be fun, interesting and appropriate since the show is focused on protecting the environment and on wildlife conservation.

Hey there! Thanks for taking an interest in my art. I'm afraid I don't take requests, but I do have a commissions page over on Ko-fi.com/nebulousbren/commissions. Most slots are closed now, but will be open again from 4/1-4/8. That being said, I do not normally draw anthro art, so please keep that in mind if/when you decide to commission me. This doesn't mean I'll turn you down, just that anthro art is not in my wheelhouse. I tend to draw fully human characters and/or human characters with a few animal traits (i.e. cat ears).

Thanks again for your interest. Hope you are doing well ๐ŸŒธ

Thank you, that's okay.

The internet's tough man lol

I didn't want to ask this on the piece it's self just in case it sounded wrong, but how did you do the glowing effect in the qinni art piece?
No problem ^^ Used a soft brush under the stars with red and orange, then a glow layer on top of the stars with light yellow. I use Clip Studio Paint, one of the layer styles is Add Glow. Hope that helps
